BAYSVILLE WALKABOUT FESTIVAL

VENDOR APPLICATION FORM

DEADLINE:              Book before February 28, 2018, if you wish to have your same space

                              Your application form and certificate from your insurance company must be received by Louise Garrod by July 1, 2018 or you will not be participating in the Walkabout.

SHOW HOURS:       9:00 AM TO 4:00PM

 

SPACE SIZE:            Approximately 12’ frontage x 10’ depth

 

SPACE FEE:             $65.00 per space     

 

ACCEPTANCE:        You will be notified immediately if your application is not accepted.

Your space will not be reserved until registration fee and certificate from insurance company (showing 1. you have $2,000,000 liability coverage, 2. you are insured for the items you are selling,  3. you are covered for off property sales ) are receivedAll forms must be received by Louise Garrod by July 1, 2018

 

NOTE:                       Space numbers can change up to the day before the Festival so your space number will be given to you upon check in.

BAYSVILLE WALKABOUT FESTIVAL RULES 2018

 

INSURANCE:  You must include with your registration form a certificate from your insurance provider showing that:

1. you have $2,000,000 liability coverage,

2. you are insured for the items you are selling

3. you are covered for off property sales.

Your application form and certificate from your insurance provider must be received by Louise Garrod by July 1, 2018 or you will not be participating in the 2018 Walkabout

 

CHECK-IN: The exhibitor entrance and check-in will be clearly marked with signs, please watch for them.  Report to our check in area from 6 a.m. onwards to obtain your space number.

These numbers will be marked on the street.

 

PARKING: In order to alleviate traffic congestion, vendors are to drive to their allocated space, unload their vehicle quickly, and then move their vehicle off the main road BEFORE setting up their display.  Parking is available on any of the side streets.  Any vendors that NEED to have their vehicle on site must make this request on the application.

 

DON’T BE LATE: Vendors are to be set up no later than 8:45am.  Vehicles will not be allowed in the Festival area after 8:30 am. If you are late, you must walk all your goods into your space.  At the end of the day, vehicles will not be allowed in or out before 4:00pm for safety reasons.

 

POWER: There is no power available so please do not request it.

 

SPACES: Vendors will line both sides of the street and side streets in a 4-block area of Baysville.  Your space may contain gravel, pavement or grass and may be in full sun or shade.  You will not know which until you arrive so please be prepared to set up under any condition. You must bring weights for the four corners of your tents.

 

TABLES:  Tables and chairs are not provided.  You must bring your own.

 

ADVERTISING: We will publicize The Baysville Walkabout in various tourism publications and  web sites as well as local media.  An estimated 4000-5000 people will attend the festival. 

 

PLEASE ENSURE YOUR SPACE IS LEFT CLEAN AT THE END OF THE FESTIVAL Your garbage should be put in the garbage bags we provide if your garbage does not fit in the bags it must be taken home with you.   Do not leave you cardboard boxes at the end of the day.  They must be taken with you

 

The Baysville Community Group will make every effort to ensure your participation in the Baysville Walkabout Festival will be a pleasant and successful experience.  If you have any special request, please list them on the application and we will do all we can to accommodate you. Thank you
